Fikret Vali oglu Guliyev

Vice rector for Education, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Docent 

He was born on 23.11.1968 in Agjabadi district. After graduating from high school in 1985, he entered the Azerbaijan Institute of Technology (present-day Azerbaijan Technological University, Ganja city) and graduated with honors diploma in Public Relations Organization and Technology in 1993 with the appointment to the Azerbaijan Cooperative Institute (present Azerbaijan Cooperation University, Baku ).

In 1986-1988 he served in the Noginsk city of Moscow Oblast. Starting his career in 1993, he worked at the Cooperative Institute as a laboratory principal, teacher, senior teacher and deputy dean. From 2000 to 2006, he was a PhD student and a dissertation assistant. In 2006, he defended his dissertation on the priority directions of the regulation of food market at the Specialized Dissertation Council at the Azerbaijan State Economic University and received a scientific degree of PhD in economics. From 2008 to September 1, 2014 worked as the dean of the Marketing and Management faculty at the Azerbaijan University of Cooperatives. On September 1, 2014, he was appointed Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs of Azerbaijan University of Cooperatives by the Decision of the Executive Board of the Azorean Union. Since 2008 he has been a PhD student at the Institute of Economics of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences. He continues his scientific researches on management of marketing activity of enterprises of agrarian industry. He is the author of 1 textbook, 1 methodical grant, 3 subject program and more than 55 scientific articles and theses. He has published scientific articles in many Russian and Ukrainian publications. He is a member of the New Azerbaijan Party. Married, has two children.
